When I'm not at home, I usually flush with the lid down. I don't know why, force of habit I guess. When I'm home though, I flush it lid up unless it's late at night and everyone's asleep. I keep the lid down to lessen the noise.

Interesting . . . wonder what created the habit to begin with. Is there ever a time you don't flush (ie the late at night noise?)

I've had my moments ^_^ My mom would wake up and go to the bathroom to pee then we'd all wake up hearing her scream, "Who didn't flush the toilet?!"
..although my sister does that more often.. ^_^
