what do you think about? ARe you agree to me? situation in india is like this. what i have observed govrnment it not paying more than Rs 25,000 about $600 to their top rank employes thats too after doing jobs for more than 20-25 years after so many promotion. At the same time its easy to get starting salary about $600-&1000 in various multinational companies.
what do yo feel? what about your country? Are they the government employees who are getting more salary or private sector employees?please share your views and experiences

The private sector is ofcourse paying higher in terms of salary compared to G'ment staff. The beauty of working in the G'ment is that you are rest assured of a pensionable scheme whereby in the private sector they top up their incentive in the form of year end bonuses. But our G'ment is more competitive now , they do have bonuses too and recently the G'ment have announceed pay hike to all G'ment servants.
In normal cases an anouncement like this is a sign of impending election! A government job is better than private sector cos' g'ment sector have no retrenchment so it is secured.

In professional jobs and high tech jobs the salaries for both sectors are very high, but probably better in private companies. These jobs probably make about ten times what the average person makes. It kind of messes with the economy
