I consider my dogs my friends but probably not the best friend I got. Because they may always be there beside me when I need some hugs and kisses but they can never talk to me to help me in my problems. Tough in a way I like them for they just sit there and listen to all my bitterness, and they don't react badly to my stupidity. I love them no matter what.
How about you? How do you find your dogs as your friends?

i had some dogs which i can consider my best friends. they do not talk to me alright, but their loyalty and trustworthiness is beyond question. not all dogs have the same degree of loyalty. i know this for sure after having had so many dogs in my life. the good qualities in a dog does not come with its breed. it is inherent in a dog itself. we will just be lucky if we can get hold of one who has all the qualities of a good pet that we desire most. so far, in my adult life, i have had the honor of having four. as a child, there is only one that i can recall.
