I would like to apologise to all of you if I have not been participating very actively with the discussions at myLot these days as I am busy at the hospital visiting and accompanying my mother-in-law who will be going through a major bypass operation on Monday, 28th May'2007. She has been in the hospital since more than a week ago. Her 3 major arteries are clogged up. On and off, I'll response to 1 0r 2 if I have the time... Thanks for your understanding... Sorry to hear about what had happened to your mother-in-law, I hope that she's getting better by now. My dad had the same operations couple of years ago, so I'm pretty much have the idea how busy you'll be...
Don't worry about it, just take your time, family's more important. We're not going anywhere, mylot can wait !!!! And please don't forget to take care of yourself, sometimes when you get busy you taking care of others tend to forget your own...

Hello apakabar2007! Thank you for your concerns. Indeed, I was very busy running to and fro. Now, she's at my Sister-In-Laws place, it's easier to visit her as her place is not too far away.... She still need to visit the hospital every week now for review with the surgeon... Thanks again!! :

I'm sorry to hear on the condition of your mum-in-law. Hopefully that the operation goes well. How is her condition now?. My prayer that Allah gave the family strength in this difficult times. You please take care of yourself too, dont exert yourself too much as later you will need more energy in helping your MIL when she is recuperating at home. Take care and salam to your MIL.

Alhamdulillah. At least now she out not so much hassle for you. It can be very tiring visiting hospital everyday. When she home and better, you can go for your holiday with a clear mind and heart.

Thank you noyida for responding. Despite having to go through 4 bypasses instead of 3 due to complications during the operation, she's a real fighter... She'll soon be discharged after spending 4 days at ICU and 2 days at High dependency unit... But her surgical wounds on her leg, hand and chest are still blue black. She still has giddy but the doctor said she can go home anytime now. Only left the stitches on her stomache has not been removed and we have to sent her to the Polyclinic to have them done next week. We need to bring her back to the hospital at least once a week for a review with her surgeon. Btw, don't go to Changi General Hospital for any heart ailment as they do not have a heart specialist there. We'd to transfer her from CGH to SGH for the heart ops. It's a long road for us and yes I think I need some rest as it has been pretty tiring of late. Thanks!!:D

Well I dont think your on my friend list however I would like to extend my sympathies and prayers for your mother in law, I hope her operation goes well, she recovers and heals quickly and all goes well for her.

Thank you for your concerns and prayers. Though she's out of ICU, she's still not that stable.... Thank you again...
