Preparation for practical subjects

I think pracitice is the only key to get mastery over the practical subjects. I only practice, practice and practice. On solving the problems time and again we get an idea as to how the analysis of the problem should be done and in what way our solution should be. What do you think? Is practice the only method to learn a practical subject????

Balance between skills and information is the key. You cant learn how to repair a broken machine just by your practice...or you will destroy it.You need a scheme and some information. And also if you have only information, there is no garancy that you will solve a practical problem without any skills.

yah... and also upgrade yourself with difficult problems...

yes, by solving more of difficult problems it becomes a piece of cake to solve the normal problems. Thank you for responding.
