Who do you put first,friends or family?

I've always felt that family should be put before friends,but studying this thought in more detail i like to be able to treat everyone equally.if it was a best friend who i'd known for donkey's years over a family member i didnt get on with then i'd choose my best friend-some people might think this is morally wrong even if you dont get on with your family...what are everyone elses views on this?

family first.. because you are first your family. they're always on your side whatever happened to you. no questions asked. they are unconditional.. they're on to you worst comes to worst..

i think that everyone should keep their family first and his friends second because i believe that friendship can breake but family cann't break, you will always have a relationship with each other

That's a good question!? I think I would need an example where I had to chose between my friends and family to know for sure. They are both very importnat to me, but I'm almost willing to say that I put friends higher.

its my family because they never leave you when are have problem, they are always accepting you of what you are even you not good in your family.

i put myself, my kids and my husband first, after that it is my friends. However, i had never thought of it like this before and dont always feel comfortable ranking it

you should always put your family first!! My family is always number one on the list no matter what else is going on.
