Celebrities working for TV adds would be using the products they advertise for ?

hi friends what would say wether film stars,sports stars and celebrities would be using all the products for their personal use which they recommends to all peoples. Or they have nothing to do with the quality of the product they are advertising for money.
How do you choose products for personal care ? just because your favorite super star is also using the same or you will check about the products from your friends those who have used that product in past or using presently.
How much any advertisement helps you in taking the decision about testing the new products ?Please share.....

I am sceptical about celebrities endorsing products, big brands as they are in it for big bucks. When pesticides were found in colas superstars were roped in to give clean chit to cola giants. What a joke. are they scientists? Do they really believe people are foolish enough to believe them without solid evidence as it is i don't drink cold drinks now.
I feel one should go by family members or trusted friends recommendation who have used the products and find it worth the cost. Moreover i like to stikc to brands that work for me.

I watch very little tv so I don't see celebrity endorsers. Since I don't see them they have no influence on what I buy. I usually buy whatever item that falls within my price range. I am not fussy and I am not into using high end products because of any status it might provide.

i'm not too believe about celebrities using the product that they involve in it..specially products with cheap prices..
i choose product based on the quality,never look from the spoke person/celebrity.i believe the price speaks the quality.
