You know, I don't have a problem with immgrants, all of our families immgrated to the United States, the key word here is " LEGALLY". Back in the good old days, immigrants arrived at Ellis Island, had medical exams, background checks and at least a few dollars to their names. They came looking for a better life. I have a problem with those that come to our country, illegally, who knows what kind of person they are, ie.. a deranged killer etc... or what kind of illness they carry. I don't want to sound rude, but look at the incidents of diseases that the USA has eradicated years ago now popping up.. T.B. for example.
And this marching in the streets.. what is that? I recall a time when someone who came to the United States illegally, hiding and not trying to bring attention to themselves. Now they are openly waving foreign flags demanding their " rights" here in the USA! I will admit I am not a scholar, but excuse me, what rights do they have when they are here illegally?! I thought only Citizens were afforded the rights granted under the Constitution.
Quite frankly, I am tired of hearing " press 1 to hear this message in Spanish", I thought the language of the USA is English, and if we are going to have to press any numbers for different languages why are other common languages of other immigrants ignored?
And... when I was in grammar school, although the school I went to was predominantly Polish, children were expected to know how to speak English, and were allowed to only speak English in school, they could speak Polish at home, this was a strict rule.
I have two daughters that attended a public school, it amazed me that mine were just a few that could speak English! Take for example, my youngest was in a class that had 32 students, during the day, only 7 students remained with her, while the other students were taken to another class by teachers that spoke their language. I found that in this school at least, the American, english speaking children were left behind, doing busy work while the children that spoke other languages got a better education!
What is your opinion on the immigration, amnesty issue?

Like you I remember when they cam here and hid because they weren't legal used to be kids going in the back of a restrant and Yelled Fedrallys and was them run out. Which wasn't nice but they did it for kicks.
Now we don't know what kind of illness they are bring with them and or if they are crimals or not. They love to drive with out a drivers licence and when they have a wreak you can bet there's no insurance.
Here in Vegas the past week there have been five people killed by illegals driving then leaveing the scene. They don't seem to have any remorce of doing it.
As for them carrying that rag they call a flag I feel someone needs to walk up and set it on fire. They seem to like to burn ours.
As far a schools teaching them in their language no way if they can't learn and speak english they shouldn't be taught in theirs if we were in Mexico we would have to learn spainish and there would be no speical allowence for us so why should they have them here.
And finially they all need to go home and come in the right way....If they can't and get caught send them back.
They should not have any amnesty cause that's forgiveness of the crime they commented.

they are both illegal and alien. terms they hate the most. i would encourage a nice written letter to your congressman and representatives protesting any passage of any bill providing any reward for being here illegally. eradicate all benefits and allowances for medical, health and housing. if we can, i'd collect and assess all the benefits paid out by U.S. citizens to involuntarily support illegals and send the bill to mexico. charge interest too. if we cant fence and mine the borders, invade mexico and while we're at it, invade canada. we'll have a great summer retreat up north and a winter cabana down south. plus all the cheap labor industry can handle. thats what global elite wants anyway. to form a north american union. rather than allied bickering, take it all over and save us the trouble of hashing out years of negotiations.
