Sometimes I find it easier to write while I'm listening to music. It helps set a mood for my novel or just helps my muse in general. There are occasions when I can't listen to music at all becuase it just distracts me. But that's usually when I'm writing newspaper articles.
Do you listen to music while you write? Or is it just distracting?

Well, as you know, I don't really write anymore. However, I used to listen to music while I wrote. When I start writing again, which I will, I'll probably listen to music. It's not distracting at all.

Some kind music as background while writing would be of help in enriching the flow of writing. But it all depends on what you are writing and what type of music you are listening. A sweet melodious tunes flying out from a flute may take me to a mood to imagine some poetic versus..
Thank you.

I have no fixed environment for writing. Sometimes I feel better with music; other times, I want absolute silence. I can even work well with horrible, chaotic noise. Nothing can stop me when I feel like writing. :P

Yes, music is something etheral. It makes you soothe down and concentrate and hence not only helps you to write but it is proven through some studies that it increases your concentration level even when you study.I always study while listening to music it really helps to focus and also stay up till late!
