Official Halo 3 Beta Impressions

I, like many others, purchased Crackdown (a fantastic game in its own right) and was in turn invited to the Halo 3 online beta. I have only played a few matches, but so far I do not think I am all that impressed. It doesn't really feel like a sequel, more like an expansion pack. Graphical overhaul is not overly noticeable, and the addition of new maps and weapons is all that really changed. I know there isn't a *whole* lot they can do to revolutionize the series, but I certainly do not feel they did enough. What do the rest of you think?
