People now adays wer not contented of what they have, even they have already everything they can ask for, like money and power. But if you have more money, then you belong to rich people and it command power, influence and popularity... but still they are not contented, that because of selfishness and greed.

Not all people even those rich ones are really selfish or greedy. Most of the time contentment stems from lack of creativity and expansion. We actually honor our life and self by seeking to grow and expand and face more challenging things each day. Those rich people felt bored that they no longer know what to do that in the end they do things that would be exciting to them that are harmful to themselves. They just don't know how to channel their desire for self expansion and creativity. In essence, people should never be contented, because when one is contented, one fails to grow and seek better things.

but sometimes better things, specially material things are ordinary thing, what important is the love from our family, I think everyone should aspire that thing instead of other things.... even how much succesfull you are in everything without love there is nothing... thanks for sharing!

What you are saying is a given thing. Why should one aspire in the first place? If not for the inspiration of ones loved ones? No matter how jaded or cynical or materialistic a person one thinks, that person inside still aims to be love and be loved in return. It's human nature.

reasons why some of us are not contented...
......because we have needs that are insatiable...like the need for food...even though we are full after a meal..an hour later we would be hungry again...
.........because we are used to...
...............because we want more...we want more because we have known that having enough makes us have a satisfied feeling...and we experienced that having more than enough would make us on top of everything...until such time a green eyed monster would developed in us and we would eventually become greedy persons...
.....................we want more for so many reasons that we tend to forget that sometimes when compared to others, we are still lucky for having what other's don't have....and we realized at the end that we've been spending so much of our time in collecting and gathering and multiplying our wealth,,,,and it's too late to realize that we don't have enough time to enjoy what we have been working for...for life is TEMPORAL!

The god has created all creatures with the view to make their own way of living.Once a creature either it is a human or an insect the desire to live in this world is ignited automatically. They try to live, then live with some comfort, that is with out hungry.Once the hunger is fullfilled they look around for more comforts like a better living place.Even an ant has the desire to save food for the future. So the human with the sixth sense is not an exception. He worked hard and achieved the heights. Some might go in a wrong direction. But generally the world is moving ahead only on the basic igniter 'The desire'. Contentment is likely to act as an obstruction to the new achievments.

It's because we don't see what's right in front of us. It's easy to say that we want something "better". We take what we have for granted.
