Around my house, the objects that I find go missing the most often are socks, pens and pencils, bookmarks, ponytail holders, and scissors. I don't know why these things are always disappearing. I've gotten to the point where I rarely wear socks anymore because I'm always loosing them. Are there any objects that you are always loosing?

I know what you mean, I've got a drawer full of unmatched socks that have been missing the matching sock for years now. I really should just get rid of them. LOL

If they have no partner - get rid of them!!! I don't know where these socks go.. Is it to dryer heaven??? The other problem I have is people wearing MY socks. To combat this problem I bought socks with pink on them (living with all males I thought this would work) They STILL disappear....Where are all the socks!!!!!????

I lose things all the time, but I won't give in. I'll search through everything until I find what I'm looking for. I think there has only been a few things that I haven't been able to find again.

Sometimes I can find things again. Right now I wish I could find my Microsoft Office installation disks. I need to reinstall the programs because my hard drive broke and I needed to get a new one. Until I can find those disks, I'm stuck using crappy Open Office.

Around my office we have tons and tons of pens but they always go missing. At home I can never find keys, pony tail holders, and the caps to things like hairspray (my cat takes them).

Ah hah you have the 4 little gremlins in your house, their names are, It wasn't me, I don't know, How would I know, and Thats not mine They frequently have company from their nasty relatives, the sock eater family, the pen and pencil thieves, as well as the shine on family, any thing shiny will go into their pockets coins scissors mirrors . As well as the famous paper eaters will devour tickets , lists, plans, directions, over due bill notifications, And Grandpa Jim's will. And ofcourse last but not least the litter bugs and their friends, making a mess. I have tried to move and leave them behind, didn't work, so If you figure out how to get rid of these rotten little pest let me know there is good money in finding cures. Regards Robin

Well i know where your odd socks are. They are at my place! I have a big pile of them. I was sure my washing machine ate them as he got hungry, but i could be wrong. As for the pens and pencils. The kids and the lounge take them, even though they wont admit it. I am always amazed how all these items always go missing. And everyone seems to have the same problem. Best wishes to you, kythe

Try to put everything in a fixed place. I do that with my keys and wallet and that helps a lot

I would say that pens are the worst for disappearing. I am not sure where they go. However, I do have 2 cats and on occasion I have found a pen on the floor.

We lose scissors all too often. I can have a pair one moment and a few minutes later it'll be gone when I go looking for them. We also lose hairbrushes, and I have a habit of losing socks. I can get them from the dryer at the same time but at least one of them will be missing within a few days.
