Here is one that I found in our local newspaper. I've adjusted it to the slow cooker. It is a slow filled cabbage variation.
One head of cabbage cut into strips
One pound of hamburger meat
One small onion diced
Half of a green pepper diced.
One cup of rice cooked in one cup of water for half the time
One egg.
Salt Pepper Oregano to taste
16 oz bottle of tomato juice or V8 juice
mix the hamburger meat, onion, green pepper, rice, oregano and egg
turn the slow cooker on to high temp
layer the cabbage and meat mixture in a couple layers in the slow cooker
add the juice and let cook for about an hour then put on low temp and let slow cook for 3 or 4 hours
stir and taste
season to taste
cover and let seasonings blend in for about 15 minutes and enjoy
is good with a loaf of nice italien or french bread and a salad although no side is needed
I won't give a number of servings because with the smell that goes through the house, the servings are usually larger then normal

Coleslaw, a tasty side dish at any time of the year, is one of the best ways to incorporate many powerful ingredients.
1/2 cup (125 mL) raisins
3 cups (750 mL) finely shredded green cabbage
1 cup (250 mL) finely shredded red cabbage
3/4 cup (175 mL) shredded carrot
1 cup (250 mL) chopped apple
1/2 cup (125 mL) dates, finely chopped
1/2 cup (125 mL) roasted, salted cashews
1/2 cup (125 mL) soy mayonnaise
1/4 cup (60 mL) lemon juice
1 tsp (5 mL) miso paste (optional)
Freshly ground black pepper to taste
Cover raisins with hot water to plump for an hour or two. Drain before using. In large bowl, combine raisins, green and red cabbage, carrot, apple, dates, and nuts and toss to combine. Whisk together mayonnaise, lemon juice, miso, and salt and pepper. Pour over coleslaw and mix well.
