Greeeat, so my neighbors behind me are having a wild party. They are already being nuts and it's only 8pm. Too bad their kids are driving power wheels under my window so it woke up my infant. I am so irritated but I am not good with confrontation. I have a feeling it's going to be another 2am party for them where I end up with no sleep. :( Darn! I wanted to get to bed early tonight and be a blob since hubby left and I'm moping. Why can't people have more respect for others? I just don't get it.

People are so inconsiderate these days. I can't understand why they don't realize that they have neighbors who may want to get some rest.
It's like the people who drive up and down the streets with their music blasting from their cars. Why do they think everyone wants to hear what they are listening to?
Hopefully the authorities will come around and quiet them down if it gets out of control.

We went to my neighbors for drinks last night and we were discussing this very thing with some guys who live across the road from us. Every weekend they party and my neighbor has a 2 year old and a new born baby. The guys take a leak outside, yell at young girls walking up the street, curse and play loud music. The next time they start we are simply gonna call the police. We should NOT have to put up with this BS.

Some people, especially drunks are like this. If this is an ongoing problem with the late night partys I my self would let them know it's keeping your infant up and too noisy. Then the second time the same night the noise was still happening I'd call the authorities. If they have no respect then they should be reported and fined for noise ordinance viaolations.
HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

You are right, I need to get my guts up and go say something. It's just so hard! Especially since there are like 40 drunk people and just one of me!!!

I'd just call the police and let them handle it. I doubt you're the only one the party is bothering so it's not like the neighbors will KNOW it was you complaining. And even if they do, so what, you'll be moving soon anyway. There's no reason you should go confront them yourself, alone, in your condition...that's what police are for.
I hope things settle down so you can get the baby back to sleep and get some sleep yourself.

LOL mine always ggoes after the phone and the remote control. If I have him on my lap when I'm at my computer he "types" by kicking his feet at the keyboard. He thinks it's pretty funny LOL

Your right, I should at least try. Last time I wanted to, my hubby said that they would tell me to go over and ask them to be quiet first before they would do anything. I think i'll call and just tell them i'm not comfortable doing that and see what they say. Hope the little guy goes back to sleep to although he is pretty sweet. He's laying in bed with me trying to eat the computer ;)

I had a neighbor throw a party the same night as your neighbors. It was pretty loud. But at least it was down the street and I could only hear it when I was outside. I'm assuming the people were using a mic because it sounded close (I could hear a lot of what they were saying), yet their house is about 200 feet away from mine (please don't quote me on this as I'm terrible at measuring distance LOL). I'm SO glad I live in the country where my neighbors (except for my landlord) are spread out.

My neighbors do the same thing, but I get it from all around. If it's not a loud party, it's their loud cars, or something like that. They really should be more considerate and respectful towards others. Sorry and I hope you get some sleep.

you can call the cops. they'll go over a break up the party if they are not more quiet. mind you i probably won't do this at 8 pm but when it hits about 11 or so i would. i like my sleep and especially if it's waking up my child that makes me angry. of course i'm like you i don't like confrontations and i'd feel bad forever that i called the cops but it does make me feel better when i get to sleep. good luck.

Well, perhaps you could call the police? Because if they are being too loud that is against the law, people are trying to sleep and we don't like loud music and stuff late at night, right? Well, I know you must be sad since he left! I totally understand when someone goes away and you don't realized how much they mean to you. Have a nice day.

Have you tried calling the police? I think there are some rules against making too much noise after a certain time. It can be 8pm or 10pm, but it will depend on the laws of your country.

That is so obnoxious and rude! I am sorry you are having to deal with that. If you aren't going to call the police at whatever time noise restrictions take place, do you think someone else might? I would think that the thought that you have children, especially a small baby, would make them think twice about such inconsiderate behavior.

UGH! i feel your pain!! i hate neighbors. i have some good stories for you on that. i'm also not good at confrontation. and you probably shouldn't with you hubby gone for now. call the cops! especially when it's affecting your kids' sleep as well as yours. it's ridiculous. i don't understand the disrespect either.

oh wow i am so excited reading your post, i love parties but teasing others and enjoy parties is not good act at all u better complaint about this.. and the most great idea is to join that party if you have any contacts with them. but you must let them know that peoples are getting irritated by their sounds and voices maybe they dont know about this.. and may they control their wildness =S
