Oh what happened to the nanny, ( jo frost ) can't handle it anymore? We'll send her back. Just kidding. I think parents or caregivers should be consistent with the way they discipline their kids. I'm so against it but I sometimes give my kids a lil' whack in the tush for not behaving. But I put them in one corner or remove their privileges. I don't punish I discipline. I always ask them why they got timed out, I want answers from them and learn from it. Discipline with love.

I was a teacher for 8 years and i really think that discipline among children should start at home and reinforced in schools... I am not suggesting the military school type... but different children needs different type of discipline... this is one thing the schools and parents should understand...

well, its a mess, when i was younger, i had a good few beatings from my parents but only becasue i was bad.. but it never done me any harm, infact it made me a better person, and i deffinatley learned the word respect..
but as it is, due to the Government and the new laws, that is the reason why they are out of controll, how can u expect to teach kids about respect, when they now have more rights than the perents do?
