How many of you liked John Denver and still do??

I have to say that John Denver has always been one of my favorite singers. His music was so relaxing and soothing. No matter what, he always made me smile. When he died, I was devastated. I couldn't believe it. He is truly missed by me. I have many of his CD's. Does anyone else out there feel like I do?

I loved John Denver in the 70's. I also really loved his Christmas specials... Favorite JD song: Calypso!

I think Rocky Mountain High is my favorite. I remember when I was a young girl, I use to call radio stations and ask them to play it.

In fact, my first album of his was his greatest hits and I purchased it with my poker winnings..haha When we would have family get togethers, we would have poker games for like nickle and dimes and I played and won enough money to buy the album....lol

i like a few of John Denvers songs, but I will tell you my husband absolutely love the song "Annies Song" I guess he wrote this for his wife. The lyrics in it are really beautiful!!!!

yea, he wrote annie's song for his wife...I think she was the only woman he ever really loved...
