I think bio-diesel will not replace all fuel, as it contribute pollution to our environment, aside from the fact that hydro-powered vehicle are on the go for development. In fact, BMW had launched its hydro-powered car already. This hydro-powered car were using 100% water as fuel for the vehicle.

I think bio-diesel has a great future, but everyone wants one fuel to be the end all choice. Why can't we get away from either or attitude. Electric and alternative fuels with gasoline are all choices. It would be great to get rid of gasoline because of the dangerous exhaust, but if it was made efficient and cleaner, why can't it be part of the choices.
We should be looking at all the options and not just trying to find one that will be the only choice.

I don't know that it will replace all fuels, I can't see it being used for aircraft, for example. But I certainly would like to see it more developed for automobile use, and would buy car that used bio-diesel and would use it if widely available.
