child's support problem

i am a singleparent. been separated for almost 6 yeard time now. my ex treated me bad during our marriage. i was emotionally/physically maltreated. last 2 years, he decided to get in touch with my sister and i let him see owr son since, my son and his father deserves to see eachother. now, he wanted us back, but i made a decition not to bec his other woman about to give birth that time. now, since he has a new family, the rest of his family are already in america. his family wanted him to go abroad and work to support his family. now, my worries is this, eversince i didnt not interfer their relationship with his new family. but, all i was just threatened is about the child's support. for the past few months, since he impregnated a girl, they were being nice to me to give me remittance from my exhusb's sister in america. but it inconsistent plus belittling me tru emails and texts. so, what i did was since my ex is leaving for america, i gave him a demand letter to see me with a lawyer, but chooses to ignore it. now, it is getting on the higher court. his father is a lawyer, so i know they should know better, right? but i just don know why thy ignored the case for a fact that it is a criminal case. he could be warant anytime. and also will be docketed to go out from the country or perhaps he will be having a hard time to go back from his country where belongs. from my heart, i really do like that to happen, i want him to go .. have a good job for him to suport his family.should i say, 2 famillies. but, he is not willing to sit down with me and settle with me. i am a person wwho understands and willing to compromise. i just have a very big question why thier doing this to me? is it because they are powerful family? pls i need your opinions regarding this matter. i will surely appreciate it , whatever you can say ..
