We have so many pets 4 fish tanks,2 averies,a parrot in a cage and a dog.as well as all these we feed 6 Kookaburras 9 wallibies and a host of ducks, rainbow lorrikets, galas, and cockatoos.it takes a lot of time and money but we enjoy all our pets and the wildlife we are blessed to have just over our back fence

You are lucky to have so many pets and animals around you. Some I could do without though because of the damage and destruction the cause, and more so when they come onto my little patch of dirt and eat our fruit and vegetables. We have a dog and a cat plus some hens, which are really for the eggs.
The dog is for company and security for my partner when I am away from home for days at a time. She goes everywhere on the farm with us when we are out in the vegetables and fruit. The cat wanders at will but is a good mouser for the shed, and badly needed this year as the drought got worse.
The hens are for the eggs and are free range within a certain area. We have fenced all along the mandarin trees and they can wander through that area, but are shut in a pen at night. No point in allowing the foxes a free feed and so they are safer in the pen. The chooks are only fed organic food, so they make a little extra for us from the eggs.
Unlike you ours do not take a lot of time or money, because we grow so much that we can feed them. It does take a bit of time sometimes to get the hens inside, but that is all.
