Are you using myLot to improve your English speaking and writing skills?

English is my first language, but I'm interested in seeing who is using myLot partly as a tool to learn English and improve their skills in English instead of just a way to earn money. I've read different discussions that touch on this and I just find it really fascinating. It seems that the world has become so much smaller, with everyone able to come together and communicate like this.
Earning money here is a plus of course, but it seems that myLot is much more than that. We get to meet so many people and read about so many different viewpoints and lives. And we also get to learn! I wouldn't mind practicing Spanish and French somewhere, but oh, well, I guess that's a different site.
So let me know where you're from and what your primary language is!

Yes. I'm from China, I don't speak English in my life, but I like English very much, I want to know more about people from other countries. Frankly, my spoken English is very poor, I don't know how to talk about something with others. First, I don't a little words, especially in some special subjects such as cooking, music, and so on. Second, I know little about the custom of other countries. I really want to communicate with other members. Do you want to be my friend here? where are you from? can you tell me something about your country and people?

well English is also my first language and i speak it with clarity. However, im profoundly dyslexic and use mylot ro practice my typing and spelling. OK i know i make some wonderful mistakes but i realy think it helps me to come here every day. Who knows,? one day i might be able to type with more than one finger on each hand.
