for me,i really cannot concentrate on my reading if some guys keep talking around me.for instance,i was reading a novel yesterday evening and really enjoyed cause i have put myself in it.but this couldn't last any more after entering my roommates.they are talking and talking,so i just couldn't help to listening to their conversations.i worked hard to make myself be concentrated on what i was reading but it didn't work.so i just finished reading 10 pages within 2 hours.i am such a guy that can easily divert my attention and be affected by environment.how about you?

I used to be able to read through almost anything, but now, talking does break up my concentration. Especially talking in an otherwise quiet place. I can read in a crowded place where the voices kind of all blend in together. But, reading in a quiet place, like a library, and suddenly hearing someone talking does make it difficult.

Same for me, it's hard to concentrate on reading when there are noise around me because it keeps me distracted. It's hard for me to read in our living room especially when someone turns on the television or the radio or when people in our house are chatting. So I just usually stay in my room when I read so there would be less distractions. It's just that sometimes when I stay in my room and somebody calls me, I usually don't hear them because I'm so concentrated on my reading. Hehe!!
