Why is it so hard to say " I am sorry" after we know we did something wrong?

Have you ever noticed that there are times when people do not have the habit of saying they are sorry for something they did which hurt someone else or was wrong. Is it pride or simply the fact that we feel that we have the right to judge others better. How can we judge others better if we cannot judge ourseves fairly???? Have you ever thought of that?

Hey, cant agree more..Its hard to say i am sorry despite knowing we are wrong.. this happens many a times and more due to reasons like high self ego. Ego which is absolutely uncalled for and ego which is just difficult to stop pampering.. One needs to be having the dare and the courage to speak out and accept his or her mistake and thereby let the truth be out. He/She should feel awkword or sould not boost the ego by controlling himself from acceptng his mistake and saying I am sorry.. You will not be an inch smaller in your esteem if you have the grace to accept your mistake.

It's pride, we think that we are better off and more right than the one we must apologize to. We feel that we are in the right tract and don't say sorry.. i only say sorry when i know i did something wrong and didn't expect it to be that way.. but i don't say sorry if i hurt a person but i know that he/she was on the wrong side...
