Are you addicted to the internet?

This morning I was told I need to go to get help for my internet addiction. Yes I get on it the minute I get up because I don't turn on the tv and wake up the family. My day usually consists of checking email and doing PTC sites. I am a ChaCha guide so I have that up to make some extra money. I then pull up mylot and read and post and still doing ChaCha. I work on that till the girls get up and then have to do mom things while he goes off to work. He has no clue what I do during the day. I also work taking inbound calls so I do that during the day which includes being on the computer. I do try to play games now and then to relax with. By the time he gets home I have supper made and the kids are outside playing so I am back to working PTC and chacha. It would be different if I didn't get dressed, did my mom duties and I wasn't trying to make money. So anyway addicted probably but in a bad way I don't think so. What about you?

i think this is the root of my trouble too, i sometimes forget how important other things are

Oh, I've been addicted to the internet for YEARS!!! My family and friends all know it. It does not rule my life, but in place of watching TV, I goof off on the web. I'm no more addicted to the internet than my friends and family are addicted to the TV. They all talk about American Idol, CSI, and all those shows. I have never watched them because I don't sit and vegetate in front of the TV.
When I first met my husband he thought I was always on the computer because I was bored, but it's because I LOVE IT!!!

Yes, you dont use internet like addiction but in these days internet is essential for our life. I think its a member of our society so take it easy. But its means not that if you havent any work but you are bg with internet.

I am addicted at the moment and pine when I have to leave it, talk about it until I can return and do some more. There aren't enough hours in the day to do all that I would like. When my daughter comes home from school she has to come in with me to talk so that I can continue on the computer. I am going to be rich so that I can leave my job and spend more time on the internet and get even richer. I think my husband does not believe though. We are going to a show tonight so I will have to behave and not pine too much about being away from the computer.

I use the internet 5 hours a day, it's because my job need me to stay in my office for 12 hours a day. So, besides working/meeting customers/reading newspaper i'll be surfing the web.
During weekends, when i'm out of my office, i'm OK without the mouse in my hand. Disgnosis: not an internet addict.

Well i think am addicted to internet yea , everyday i must acess the internet , or else i won't feel comfortable at all yea ... and might get frustrated because of that ... think i must cure it somehow yea

I think i am addicted to internet and daily i browse for about 8 - 12 hours, if i don't have internet or if i am away from internet i feel real bad and always try to reach place where i can find internet.

Oh yes, i'm REALLY addicted to the internet. It's perfect for those who are sleeping under a rock. In fact, I can find a whole lot of good stuff on the internet. And i'm proud to say that, to me, internet addiction is a good thing! But still, I got a Playstation 2 to take a break now and then, but i'm addicted to the internet, and i'm glad i'm like that. But on one condition: if there's any good website worth visiting, then i'll go there and spend some time there.

I have reached a stage where every morning when earlier I used to reach out for the morning paper, now I browse the net . The news keep flashing in front of me while I work or just browse and this has been a routine -- no, passion --no, absolute addiction now. I am online now till I just fall asleep. I don't know what I would do without the Internet.

i most certainly am addicted to the internet. i absolutely MUST get online every single night. Sometimes i get online durring the day as well. i get online starting at 10 inthe evening (9 when Jason has to go to bed at ten cuz of work the next day) and i don't get offline until 2 or 3inthemorning...sometimes even later!The latest i havestayed online was until 5 in the morning. i was talking to Jason and didn't even realize how late itwas. Oh well.

i think i am definitely addiction.every day i begin with opening my computer.i watching my screen even when eating sth.i can't imagine my life without computer and internet.

I probably have to say that I am addicted to the internet. However, I don't think that it is such a bad thing. There is a lot that you can learn and do on the internet that you can get anywhere else. There is a social aspect but I don't think anything is like the real thing. I just find the internet fun.

Yes to some extent i am addicted to the internet. I spend a good amount of time on the net. In the evening i check my email and share market movement and related news. I then go tho sleep and wake up early in the morning at around 4 and start working on mypaysites like mylot and adbux, linkguard and post surveys as and when they come. This carries on till around 6 when i need to prepare food for my school going daughters. My purpose is to use the net to generate some extra income for my family.

I am exactly the same way. I'm usually the first one up and the first thing I do is get on the computer and go on the internet. I check my email or get on my lot to check if I have friend request, messages, or any interesting conversations. I don't even brush my teeth right when I wake up because of the internet.

I am also very much addicted to internet these days. While a month back I was in the hostel, free internet was there but I was not using that so much as more interesting time pass activities were there. We played LAN games like Counter Strike, gossip with friends. But for a couple of days I am very much attracted to it doing orkut, mylot etc.

well i wont say that i am addicted to mylot. i just want to earn some money on mylot. so i give mylot an hour almost everyday. but i wont call it an addiction.

I use Internet really a lot. I will be online most of the time in the day as well as in the night. But I dont think Im addict to internet. Addiction is something without which you cannot survive.
But I dont think internet is not something without which I cant survive. People find pleasure in different things as per their likings. I believe I love internet where I can meet peoople, earn money, have fun, share things, learn more, gain knowledge and post my ideas etc... It is the place where I can relax myself. So I think I just love internet, but not addicted to it. I can survive without Internet too ! ;)

Yes I too am turning into an addict to my Lot. The Internet is a bouncing spot from here.
