You Know You're Pretty... But Why do you still feel INSECURE???

You are definitely not the only one who feels this way!! I feel the same way, I wonder if my hubby is just being nice when he tells me I am hot or whatever. I have always been that way, I wish I was more confident. Maybe we both should go to councelling!!

You're right. My husband tells me I am pretty. My friends say the same. Yet, I still could not convince myself it is true. I guess it is because there are different standards of beauty and of being pretty. When I meet beautiful people, I then feel insecure. As if I have become so ugly at that instant. I guess this has something to do with one's self-esteem. I guess we both need counselling LOL

I guess you don't really need counselling but trust in yourself more. A lot of people may have insecurities especially if they see other people who they think looks better than them. But I'm pretty sure that even those hot women or even men have their own share of insecurities. Insecurities always come when we keep comparing ourselves to other people who we think are much better than us, but in reality, they're just as imperfect as we are. As the saying goes, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Beauty may not just pertain to someone's physical appearance but also in one's personality and outlook in life.
