I love garage sales!!!

I just bought two dressers and a headboard at a garage sale all for $30. I plan on sanding them down and painting them. I too love garage sales. There are so many wonderful things that people don't want and that I can fix up. I like to purchase old wooden frames and use them for my art work.

I too love garage sales, I don't get to go to yard sales as often as I would like lol. I did manage to sneak out before the house was awake yesterday and go yardsaling for a couple of hours. I got a bread machine yesterday, still in the box totally unused. I paid a measly 4.50 for this and it has all the books even a video and there was an extra book on all different breads. Needless to say I have homemade bread making as we speak lol. I have a tone of floating candles but never had quite the right bowl to float them in I found the perfect one yesterday as well. Yep one mans junk is sure another mans treasure, I agree. Your couch looks fantastic. Oh isn't it fun. all the best and keep on garage saleing lol. Take care

You are very talented to be able to do reupholstering yourself, good for you and good job !!! I had a garage sale this past weekend. Between my daughter and I we had enough stuff to start a second time around store. We ran it from Friday afternoon for about 4 hours and all day Saturday. We still have a lot of stuff that I plan to sell during the week weather permitting. So far we made nearly 500 dollars total from the everything. Not too shabby !!!
