A cricketer who sleemlessly blends an old world classicism with a new age professionalism.

Rahul Dravid is the mr. consistent, the WALL. He is really a great cricketer with sound technique and temperament. He is man for the crisis as he soaks in the pressure and holds his end up allowing strokemakers to make runs freely. If he required he can up the scoring rate and also graft when required. He is a throguh professional and works hard at his game and his fitness. His test average of 57 plus wchich is even higher than sachin speaks volumes of how good test batsman he has been esp. in conditions away from home. Let shope he bring more glory to India and leads India to some famous victories.

I would like to express what I feel about cricket matches and Rahul Dravid's part in Indian cricket. Rahul is a kind of a player who will not destruct the bowler and rise the BP of the opponent captain. He is like a gourilla war. You ll feel it only when it has grown bigger. Once he dropped his anchor, then there is no way to get him out. His major strong point is he plays and makes his partner play. Yuvraj, Raina and Kaif have grown under the shadows of this great man. He ll not hit sixes to end the match at the same time he ll not allow to lose the match. A very good example for that matter would be our last match against the Lankans at the world cup. Its a simple match to win. The idea is play full 50 overs and win de match. But everybody except him failed to stand in the middle. In a team like India wehere all the players are blasters he is the only sheet-anchor man. Entire team revolves around this Sun. He can only handle the pressure. He ll never give his wicket with a faulty shot. He stands between India's defeat and opponent's victory; for that only he is called THE GREAT WALL OF INDIA. regards, Maha

ya sure...whats the big doubt in that..he is one of the hall of famer in cricket...his defence is one of the main highlight...apart from the capability to hit in the slog overs without getting out early
