Are Blogs good Money Generators?

Hi everyone, I have started a blog about a month ago. It has been a work in progress as I am not that technically savvy. The main idea of my blog is to research information for people which I can then send to them and post on my blog site. Basically, the way I get paid for this is the increased traffic hopefully helps my adsense numbers. For instance, I just had a request for me to investigate penny stocks. Well, actually I know quite a bit about this subject as I own some so I posted some information about my stocks on my blog. I followed that up with some links for the gentleman to explore on his own. What do you think? Are blogs a good way to make money online? I am also in the process of developing my own and blogspot, and hopefully, earn extra cash from it. By the way, can you give me the steps on how to put my website/blogspot in the sidebar of my profile like what you did? Anyway, here is my blog. You are totally right. Blogs can really increase the traffic you generate a lot of traffic. Although I don't really use em because I'm not in this field anymore but I know many people how use blogs and are doing really good with them.

Yes they are good to make extra money but you have to be choosy about the program and the subject of the blog

i really havent great idea about it, as previously about two months back, i worked on some of the blogs, but i think the most important thing is the viewership or the readership of your blog, unfortunately i havent succeeded at that and so havent made any money out there.
