Hand in the Toilet ??

the toilet was bloked and nasty and I didn't know what it was that was bloking it. It turns out that somebody had thrown hand towels in and it clumped and I was the one that had to fish it out.

I've dropped a book in there just as I was finished flushing and once my keys fell out of my pocket as I was pulling up my trousers. I'd flushed but I went and got a glove to put on to retrieve them. Your mobile phone would've been cactus i imagine. Getting them wet is a no-no.

Yes, it's happened to me. A yucky experience. I used a garden spade to flush items out of the toilet, or some other suitable item. Years ago, I had a cat fall in the toilet.

I was staying at a friend of a friends house, I really didn't care for him but he had a couch ;) Anyways, I had my bathroom stuff on a shelf next to his razor, this shelf was above the toilet. When I was pulling down a bottle of lotion from the shelf, the electric razor fell in the toilet! I dried it off with some toilet paper and put it back, I knew it was expensive and I couldn't afford to replace it. Plus, it made me laugh when I saw him shaving with it a few hours later!

Hello,calaia,luckily i have not had any experience like you,except I have dropped a package of tissues into the toilet,definitely i did not fish it out,I just flushed it. So how about you? Was the toilet used or not when you picked up your cellphone? Did you wash it after that and did it work then?

Didn't you at least try ringing it first to see if it worked underwater? I have had to do this many times - and it is usually a whole loo roll! Luckily the kids are now big enough to do this themselves thankfully! xxx

My son threw a toy in the toilet and I had to fish it out. It was disgusting.

Yes I have had to stick my hand in the toilet...luckily there wasn't and pee or worse in there =) I was on a cruise with my husband for out honeymoon and during dinner I had had a few drinks. So I was going to the bathroom and I bend over to wipe the toilet seat off ( I have to do that in public bathrooms) and as I bent over my wedding rings fell in the toilet!!! I just stood there looking at them thinking if I went and got my husband he couldn't go in the ladies bathroom anyways and by the time we got back someone would have probably taken my rings. So being a little tipsy I stucked it up and stuck my hand in the toilter water and got my rings. I still get grossed out thinking about it!! When I went back to our table I had my rings in my hand and I handed them to my husband and said, "These fell in the toilet"...he dropped them on the table and said, "Well thanks for letting me hold them for you". hee hee

I have had to fish things out in the past... I usually grab the cat litter scoop to do it with, or put a plastic baggy over my hand - whether the bowl has been flushed or not. yick. I am in the habit now of putting the lid down so nothing can fall in.

I dropped my house keys in there and had to fish them out. I also dropped my toothbrush in there, i had to go out and buy another one coz thats just plain nasty if i was to use it

Well, I haven't, but I often worry at night. I wear a nightguard to bed which is like a mouthguard, because I grind my teeth. When I have to get up at night to use the loo, I often poke it around with my tongue, open my mouth and stretch my jaw. Several times it has almost popped out. You'd think I should know better. I think I'm tempting fate, so should take it out before going to the toilet before it really does happen!!

I dropped my MP 3 player in the toilet. I had just peed and it fell out of my chest pocket. You wouldn't believe how quick my hand was in that toilet fishing it out. Good thing, too because while it didn't work at first, after it dried out it did work again. Did your phone work?

wen i was a kid my father gave me thrashing for my bad results n i decided i wont study anymore n i threw 2 of my books into the toilet intentionally...lol..n when he came back n realised it ,he made me fish them...i was feeling like vomiting n was in all tears...but hardly had a choice rather than fishing n going bak to study...
