I was at a garage sale on Saturday, and this lady had the most beautiful handmade dolls, really exquisite. She was selling them for $6.00. I thought she was selling them too low. I suggested she sell them in a store etc.
I always wanted to make dolls, but It's one of those projects I started but never completed. Anyone make dolls here?

I have made some crocheted stuffed animals, but I haven't made a crocheted doll yet. It's on my list of things to do, someday. :)
I do agree with you that $6 for a handmade doll is definitely too low. But when people sell crafts at a yard sale, they tend to under value their crafts, because people expect yard sale prices at yard sales.

Yes I do make dools.Crafting is one of my pass times and I love to make dolls and candles.I do not sell tham though I just keep them and sometimes gift them to my dear ones.I make different types of dolls, small ones make with several rolls of threads, bigger ones made with cooton cloth and a clay face.I also love to make soft toys, the best one I have made is a snowman! It is really cute!

It find that $6 is cheap for a well-made doll. They demand time and fine work. I sell traditional babywearing dolls in my site for around this price, though ;)
