Have you ever been hurt by the thought of your ex being with someone else?

The first love is special and I think that we always will somehow love that person. I just also found out that my first love will get married after the summer and I have to say that even though I am happy in my relationship I felt a sting in my heart =)

I guess jimbo is right its confusing ,is it you got raped by someone else and than his parents refused the him to let him marry you or something else or you might have made some mistake in writing it?

once you have get married, I think you had better to forget your first lover. I know it is not your wish to leave him and you might love him till now, but you have to forget as you already choose another one and get married . once you get a new family, your lover can have his own family, you had better understand him and believe love is not everything in life. good luck with you.

Well, i guess sometimes we do mind, its not because that we still love the person, or maybe in one or two cases, u still love that person... But very often, we mind because we know that we used to be the one... That is whhy it makes things so hard... No doubt we have move on... But sometimes when memories comes back... We will tend to think of the past and wish whatever had happened back then will not move on... For me... Whatever happened in the past is the past... I have no wishes to know about my exs and yah, i do wish them all the best.. But i dun wish to know too much about them... I guess it puts me sorta in a safer zone... =)

I think its only natural for people to have feelings for their ex, expecially if there was a lot of love in that relationship. I know that when I found out that my ex got re-married it hurt a little. I don't know why really cause I can't stand the man, maybe because I was hoping he'd be misrable forever as a form of karmic justice. Either way its just human nautre to feel hurt or disapointed at such things. Don't let it get to you to much.

You arent alone with this, I too have felt this way just the other day i asked a friend if they knew what one of my ex's was up to and was told how happy he was and that he ahd children and i felt a little sad about it, But what bothers me more is the thought that if my hubby and i ever were to split up that he would be with another woman and that there would be another woman in my childrens life. I dont think that i could deal well if that ever happened
