What do you think about safelists???

Has anyone ever used safelists to market something and what do you think of them? Do they work or is it a waste of time?

I have not seen any progress in my business when I used safelists, maybe people do much the same as I have been doing, turning on the filters in my mailbox and the safelist mails become deleted automatically. I wonder who is actually reading safelist mails?

I belong to alot of safelists and what I see when I get emails is the same subject OVER and OVER again. I don't even open them. Every morning - I just delete all my safelist mails. So, I just don't think it is that effective to send emails via safemail anymore - there are too many...
