Oh... Canada??

I'm really thinking of moving to Canada. Anyone else feel this way? I know each area has their own problems and I probably don't know all there is to it but I would really like to be equal and not seperate. I don't like the cold but would deal with it to know that my Wife and I could be truly married and our child/ren would be seen as that ours not mine not hers but what we've made together and we have the rights to them that normal parents have. If anyone is already is living there I would love to know what it's like and what you think?
