"The Notebook", movie is an adaptation of the, "The Notebook," novel, written by Nicholas Sparks.
In the movie, the starrers are Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams, likewise starrers of Hercules and Hot Chick, respectively.
I've seen the movie and read the novel, too. Both were great. There are several differences and changes, however, such were not fatal enough to dispute it. Both were tearjerking anyways.
Hence, it is quite natural for movies that they had to put some changes because they need to put the story in a compact manner, unlike in the novel that the story was more expanded.
Nonetheless, I submit that I am convinced and I love it. A warm of applause!

I absolutely love this movie, too. After watching it, I said to my friends, "that's exactly how I want to die when the time comes." We were, of course, all sobbing so all they could do was nod. I've seen this movie countless times afterward and, still, I'm brought to tears each and every time. I loved the book, too, but it's been a very long time since I've read it.

I read the novel when i was still in my 1st year in college, that would be in 2000, and i was enthralled by it. Years later, the movie came out, i forgot that i've read the book, it had been years, but when i saw the beginning of the movie, the house by the lake, the little boat, it seemed that the details of the novel came rushing back to my mind. How Nicholas Sparks wrote it was so vivid, and how very similar to what i imagined while reading the book was that house by th elake in the movie. Huh! I lvoed the movie that i've watched it several times, and it still always gives me this warm feeling in my heart.

Even though I am a girl, I don't normally go for those sappy love stories. And I generally hate flash backs stories. But, this one was excellent and I was crying uncontrolably at the end. And that is very strange for me. I would advise everyone to watch it.

As far as chic flicks go, I would have to say it is a pretty good movie.

I absolutely love this movie~! I love the fact that Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams had perfect chemistry in the movie. They even won Best Kiss for MTV Movie Awards. I was practically bawling towards the end of the movie~! LOL..
If you love The Notebook, be sure to watch 'Away From Her' which is coming soon. I'm not so sure when though, but it's also about old couples and endless love.. Not so sure how good it is compared to The Notebook but the trailer seemed to be really touching.. =)

I loved this movie. It was so sweet and so sad, it even made my husband cry, and he's usualy not the type of guy to cry about anything, much less a romance movie. It is a wonderful story of love and dedication. I don't often buy movies, just rent them, but the Notebook is one of the few movies I do plan to eventually own as a part of my bery small and selective video library (to be honest its more like a stack of 5-6 DVD's at this point). Great movie!

I don't generally like sappy love stories, being a bitter single-ton couples make me cringe... But I can watch the Notebook and believe that real love exists and can last for ever. Thats what I like most about it. And of course Ryan Gosling is amazing, and SO cute. If you like Ryan Gosling, I'd reccommend 'The United States of Leland' where he plays a troubled teenager accused of killing a mentally ill kid. He was quite a bit younger when he played this role and he is excellent in it. It's got that Donnie Darko feel to it but less Sci-Fi-ish... Watch it! Love it! And yeah, the notebook is beautiful.
