I have managed to scrape up some savings lately. Now, I am considering of going into a very manageable business. It is only a small one and I am now thinking as to what are the points to consider when putting up one. There is one proposal that I get into the distribution of the c vitamin capsules that we are patronizing heavily at this time. For those of us here who are used to getting into some small business going, can you please give me some advice on this?

I like your idea of doing vitamin C distributor. You have open a gateway to a new form of business. It is something that everyone consume and I'm sure it will be a hit. It has a big market every where. So go for it. I am also in business here in my country doing pub business. I had been in food catering for a few years but decided to ventrure to something else.

i had thought of the food business before but, it is not that easy to manage. there are so many considerations. time is also one enemy i have. i had to shelve the project. now, i am having another oppportunity and it sounds fine. thank you for the encouragement. i really hope that it will be a good start to become a distributor of a wonderful product.

are you using and referring to fern-c?that is better through direct selling but if you are thinking of a store business.of course, you have to think of product you are comfortable with e.g you can tap your interest ,your hobbies which you are passionate about because the success in any business depends on the product that you enjoy promoting to your clients.everything else will follow because you will create a need for it to sell. no one can tell you what you want,so it all starts from there then we start talking.but if you insist , i would suggest a water station, a small business center/internet cafe (no gamers) with a small convenience store on the side,a samut-sari store.or you like to distribute health products ,pm me i have phyto shape for people who would like reduce weight within 2 weeks ,all herbal no side effects, this is very new ,we are the sole distruibutor in the philippines, check it out in the internet and see if yo like it.these are suggestions but it is all up to your interest.

I don't know the laws in the P.I., but besides that part, you must be willing to have your company be able to spread into other businesses. For instance in California there are a lot of people utilizing water purifiers. I know that when I was in Subic, this is something that would be needed, so don't be afraid to venture into other areas as well.

oh, so you are familiar about my country, sailor. it is good to know that you were in subic before. sad to say that i have never been to subic yet. it has been developed already into a tourist destination. perhaps, you would like to pay the place a visit once again.

There are three things you need to do before investing in any venture.
1 Check out the vompany. If it is not more thatn a few months old, err on the side of caution.
2 Know what 6 months expenses will average. put at least this money in an expensditure acount for your business. This is money that is only to be touched for paying the bills for your business.
3 Get a tax number from the US Government. This registers you company as a business with the IRS, and gives you access to the documents and other tools to manage your tax obligations. The tax laws for businesses are diferent. Remember to pay yourself a salary, too. This will actually reduce your taxes.
Other than that, just be careful. If it sounds too good, well you know, ask all us chickens at myLot...

hmm. this is an interesting business venture that you would like to have. i hope ur familiar with ARTHRO capsules. You know it has a large amount of sales just in a year. This is how it works, the president bought some capsules outside in the Philippines and packaged it in our country and then have a massive campaign of marketing and it did work

if you are interested you can join our group... here's 4 ways of earnings
1. u can be an e-load dealer using only your current sim for all networks. of course if you are the dealer, you will get a retailer, they will be the one to sell the load to customers, the good thing is they wont need to replace the cell number they are using, they can use the same...and load all networks including, globe, smart, sun, tm, digikard, pldt, ragnarok, mu and other online games, internet cards and many more....you see the great advantage..."its one sime load all"
2. next, you can refer friends and get 500 each referral and when you get 2 referrals you'll have 2000. isnt it great.??
3. then you can also purchase many products and sell it...you'll earn 25% for everything. another great thing...the products are highly consumables like food supplement, gluthatione, household things...etc... easy to sell because its a neccessity to every household and priced lower,
4. you'll also have lifetime discounts, insurance for your family and many more....
you can visit the site at www.realsaversgroup.com or contact me at 09175058792 for more info

hi friend I don't have any idea about vitamin c distribution. But IF i would be at your place I would like to use technology most like internet, websites to sell my products instead old door to door or man to man approch. Idea about selling on ebay is also great as there is no investment involved so the chances of loss are zero. there is no lending at all first the money willbe transfered to your account then you need to courier the product. if you don't have big stock of products in biginning you acn purchase it from market and get it couried as you have allready recieved the payments.
in very biginnig one can start with little margins after word he can socke many items on wholesale rate so as to get more and more proffit.
even you need not to set up your own website, need not to worry about payments every thing is ready and thousand of sellers are allready running successful businees with ebay

thank you for sharing this idea about doing business online. i will study this and consider going into it. i know that there are lots of things which can be tapped for this purpose. there are lots of factories around in my country which are truly saleable products.

yes, you are right on this one, too. small businesses are likely to fail if left in the hands of others. besides, i may not be able to hire help at the start. this will immediately incur expenses when there is no income yet being generated. this sounds an illogical way of doing things. i know that i will have some trouble spending much time on a business which will not be earning good at the start. however, it seems to me like this is how it usually works. thank you for reminding me on this important aspect. this is of foremost consideration.

I came across this website recently. www.bplans.com it sounds interesting and offers different business templates for different types of businesses.
Is yours a physical distribution business? or an online marketing one?
I don't have a business myself, but hopefully that website helps. I think what's most important in businesses is the managing of cash flow. Most businesses fail because they get into a cash liquidity strap. all the best!

this is a physical distribution type. and a very small one. nothing much to lose and very much worth trying. however, no matter how small, putting up a business and establishing an office is quite tedious in itself. we are starting with the required papers right now. my children are helping me out to complete them. yes, i will get to that site. it will surely be a great help.

I've tried distribution business but I realized later on that it was hard to manage. I've encountered piling up of orders from clients just because my supplier can't keep up with the demand. Many people are not very good at paying debts too! The mark-up is barely enough to cover the expenses. But of course it's a case to case basis.
On the other hand, my suggestion is that you venture on food. Foodcart, retail stores, restaurant and what not. The most important thing is that you study the business thoroughly before investing your hard earned money to it. All businesses are risky but it will pay off pretty well if you put tremendous effort on it.
I really hope I was able to help.

yes, honcho, you are such a big help. this distribution business will not be much of a headache because there is ample supply of the product. yes, i know of a lot of distribution centers which flopped for the failure of the suppliers to keep up with the demand. a friend of mine went through this. he didn't feel the hurt so much because, he only invested a small starting amount. good for him, he had recovered his initial investment and some negligible gains to go with it.

yes, we all are. why won't you try a little buy and sell business? you can buy some bags and clothes from the very source then you can sell them with a good mark up. i know that these items will really give you good gains from each single sale. you should know some poeple who are now doing it big here in my country. yet, at the start they only sold by a few items approaching friends and relatives who are prospective buyers. what i am going to consider starting to undertake is actually a type of buy and sell business. the starting earnings is projected to be low. it is hoped to be picking up slowly and do good within three months.

do you have all the necessary permits/licenses to do your business?
are you going into the business of distributing just one product? from what i understand in your description, this is some sort of a fad - because alot are patronizing the product at this time. have you thought about the time that people start losing interest in the product and what if the market gets too saturated with people who are selling the same thing?
have you considered what your margins are and if your sources are reliable?
these are things that you should consider when planning out your business.

as of now, i am thinking along the line of herbal health products. we have been using these products for sometime now and it has been doing wonders for us. some friends are urging me to get into the business because they want to avail of the products, too. thank you for your inputs, i will have to study all the aspects you have pointed out for me to consider.

As a lender when I look at small business loans I look into how much EXP the person has with this business.
See if you have 10+ yrs being a auto body person and you want to open an autobody shop but your credit is only a 550 I can still get you a pretty good amount. So my advice to you is doing something you know how to do.
