Sony v.s Canon or other

Which type of Digital Camera do you prefer. I have Sony 6.1 megapixels and I like it little the quality of the movies is low but the pictures are just perfect.

I prefer Nikon for the DC and Sony for the DV.

Professionals usually use Canon or Nikon but Sony Digicams are fine.

I actually heard that Sony doesn't have the best digital cameras out there.. The quality of their products tends to be lower compared to that of their competitors', which are the digital camera gurus, Nikon and Canon.. That's what I heard about Sony digital cameras.. =)
