The whole world is selling to one another whatever they can think of . Corporate bodies are formed and they in turn sell aggressively. Only sales seem to be the sole purpose of the modern day human being. If he has to survive he has to sell himself. Why is this so?

This is so in order for him to make a living and support himself and his family.

Sales is the way to wealth. But it does not necessarily have to be selling oneself. A smart marketeer can use others to market and sell his products. A geek can create a program to sell without even trying to do it himself. Most others are likely to find some of the above to help make money.
