Did you have weird ways of eating when you were a child?

I remember having mashed potato sandwiches, oatmeal sandwiches, gravy sandwiches, etc. Just about anything spreadable was made into a sandwich. Let me know what you did.

That sounds more like weird foods rather than weird ways to eat. I always ate one food at a time, I still suffer a bit from this. I get to eating one of my foods & frankly sort of forget about the others until that one is done.

Well the foods themselves are normal foods. But the way I ate them was weird. Everything had to be a sandwich.

Oh I was so picky! and still am... I didn't eat two different food in the same plate or with the same fork, didn't eat anything green but I ate crips with chocolate, butter with sugar (but I think this happens somewhere) and everytime my mom made a cake I had to eat what remain on the container after having poured the cake in the pan.

I love to eat the cake batter from the bowl. But my mom wouldn't let us when we were kids.

I was a very picky kid. I didn't like anything green and I didn't like different foods touching each other on my plate. My parents were driven crazy by my pickiness, having to push my food waaaaaay apart so I'd even try it. And more often than not, I wouldn't eat it anyway! Needless to say, I was pretty skinny as a kid. But I grew out of the pickiness and now I'll try anything once, so I guess you just never know.

At least you outgrew your pickyness, some people never do. We couldn't be picky as kids because we didn't have much you ate it or went hungry.
