When I was in my collegae days I used to work as a secretary in a travel agency. Even though my salary is not that big I can say and be proud of what I'm earning that time. I can buy what I want and i give some of my salary to my mother I can really say that I can help her for some of our daily expenses.

working as student makes life very tedious.
but some circumstances makes a student to study as well as work.it is hard to work n study but if we try to co-ordinate its possible n i think tat such downs only make us brave n bold to face any problems in our life

hmm.. i for one is a working student.
at first i didn't want to, but things happen that forces you to do so..
and now, i like working, but it doesn't mean that i put less attention to my studies..after all, its the main reason why i work.
its hard, thats for sure, but its bearable. i mean, with the right management of time, you can do all that you want..even go shopping or go on a date for the weekend..
so its really up to your enthusiasm..^_^

Yes it is quite hard for me when I was a working student. I get tired and had less time to study and it is hard to concentrate when you are tired. You have to work yourself double than other student. But most of all dificulties, I am glad that I was a working student. It is gave me experiences and ability to handle pressure. And its fun too, especially on pay time.. :)

I used to be a working student, right now I'm only studying because I'm nearing the end of my studies and I need to find a graphic arts related job to do my professional practice and earn my title. First, I had a job of minimum wage but the company demanded that I work extra hours everyday and even weekends, I ended working for them for monday to monday. That made lose too many classes, so I flunked three of my courses (I was doing six) and that made me get behind in my career. So, I quit that job and found one with a better schedule for me, this job allowed me to pay my studies and left my enough time to assists to all my classes, still it was hard to do all the work for my professors with just the weekends to dedicate to my studies.

I had two part-time job while I was in college. I worked at a book rental place when I don't have classes and tutor during the night. I had my schedule arranged that all my classes are all in the morning during MWF and afternoon during TTh. It worked well with me but I have to make time to go to the library for research. I missed lots of school activities but I know I had to sacrifice in order to finish college. Four years after with my diploma, all my hardwork paid off and I congratulated myself for a job well done.
If you really have the will to finish school, you will find the way to do and ready to make sacrifices.

I worked my way through college for 3 years, and I'd say it was not a "walk in the park". It's not easy to work at the same time study, but my sacrifices paid off eventually when I graduated and earned my first pay check. Education is really important for us as we consider it as a ticket to improving our life. And true enough, I did not regret having been a working student because I learned the value of hard work and sacrifice. I learned that nothing comes for free, not even my own education since I had to work for it. During my senior year I was awarded an athletic scholarship that's why I had to stop working to concentrate on my volleyball practices. But looking back, I can say that I am a better person now because once in my life, I sacrificed by being a working student.

It is not advisable for students to work because they tend to focus more on their work than their studies because of the incentives like salary.
