No, there is no need to fight to get peace because peace itself is just a fantasy created by those in power to cover the ugly reality. To really gain peace then a utopia need to be created which is highly unlikely because every one have their own needs and wants. That's the main reason why differences arise and enmity, anger and war happen.

I feel sad when I see people have lost hope for peace. I believe differences can be dealt with in non-violent ways and that war is not necessary.

I believe that peace is achievable in the world, and not by conducting wars. I think that in todays world of communications technology it is more possible than ever to create world peace. When you know people personally it is harder to go to war against them, don't you think? I mean if our government began to talk about sending troops to a place where we know people we'd want to do what we could to solve problems there without military intervention. With the internet and the connections of individuals all around the world we have a better chance of creating respect for each other, compassion for each other, concern for each other.
People are more similar than they are different. And individuals can work things out better than governments. If there are enough of us wanting to be friends, wanting to create peaceful solutions to our differences, we could do it.
What do you think?
