Happy Memorial Day to you all! I hope you are all enjoying your long weekend. We've had beautiful weather here the last few days, and it looks to be a spectacular day again today. That's good news, as most of my excercise comes from being outdoors. Looks like I've lost another 2 1/2 lbs this week. I'm so excited I can hardly breathe! The program I use, FitDay, projected that If I keep losing at the rate I am losing, I'll be less that 200 lbs. in 12 weeks. OOOhhh... that has me so happy!!! I hope to hear how you all did this week. Good luck on the next week!!

I didn't do so good this week. My husband has been off work and we have been celebrating Memorial Day all weekend. I have only lost 1lb. And we are still eating tonight. Glad to hear you have lost another 2 1/2 lbs keep up the good work. I will definately check out that website. I guess you mentioned it before but I over looked it. Thanks.

One pound is better than no pounds! Great Job gewcew!!! My spinach is up, and I harvested our first crop today. What a lovely salad we had with it tonight. Do check out fitday. It's definately worth the time. It keeps track of your fat, calories, protein, and fiber, among other RDA things that we are supposed (or not supposed to) eat. www.fitday.com if you want the website. Good luck next week!!!

Hey gewcew! Here is another site I found this morning. It's totally free, and has message boards, weight log, menu planner, etc. Looks pretty cool! Check it out if you have time. http://www.everydayhealth.com/

Good for you! Keep up the good work and you will be slim and trim before you know it. I know how hard it is to get rid of those excess pounds. I am still trying to get rid of the weight from the last baby. I have never heard of Fitday but would love some more information about it. Would you be willing to PM me with some details?

hi Loved1! Fitday is a program that you can use either online (free) or pay $20 to download it. just go to www.fitday.com for more details about it. It's really great because you can put in your activities, recipes, food log, mood, weight, and body measurements. It even has a diary so you can keep closer track of everything. I've used it before, many weight attempts before, but for some reason, this time I'm actually getting it to work for me. (may be the warm weather!) HA! I started a challenge 2 weeks ago to help me lose 7 lbs. in 4 weeks. I've lost most of them already. The other challengers are real close to their goals as well. We are just posting our losses each Monday until June 14th. (Yes, I know that is on a Thurs. :)) Feel free to join in if you want. Always looking for more challengers. If it works, I think we'll try another 4 weeks, and see how we go. :)

Wow, I looked up that fitday thing and it looks awesome! I think I'm going to start using it! It says I need to lose 2.41 lbs per week to reach my goal, and I only lost 1 1/2 last week. But since it's getting warmer I'm going to be doing more walking, so I should be able to do it! I've been trying to lose weight for a while now, and right now I'm finally under the weight from before I had my son a year ago, so I'm pretty happy with that.

Maybe we should all take turns starting a discussion each week with tips, recipes, exercises, etc that have worked for us. They say that any diet plan that has a buddy system will work better. We could all help each other out. As for me, I have been working on dieting for several months and have lost 18 pounds. Now that it is nicer, I am exercising a little more. What I would like to know also is how to firm up the areas where I am losing. Let me know if any of you would like to start these discussion.

Love your name onerygirl. :) Great job on the 18 lbs. also! That long trip, but well worth it. Your idea is kind of what we are doing. I started a challenge 2 weeks ago, to post our goal weight loss in 4 weeks. I start a new post each Monday and the challengers post in how they did. Yes, I like the idea of support, tips, etc. We could include that with our weekly loss posts. :) If you have a goal weight that you would like to lose in the next 2 weeks (when our original challenge ends) let me know, and we'll all be here to help!

I'll stand on my son's new Dance Revolution game and do a happy dance for you!!! So awesome, and I'm so proud of you!!!!! Why not aim for another 5-7 lbs. until the 14th? You'll get out of that carrot cake slump, it's gonna have to go somewhere, why not work, and make your co-workers eat it?? LOL! I'm sure they'll love all those extra calories.
