Okay so I am naturally a hoot owl. I stay up really late at night, so I usually sleep in late. If I wake up before 8 am after a long night, then I will usually be ready for a nap around 1 or 2. But normally I don't get up until closer to 10 or 11 am so I don't nap at noon.

I had my nap from 1am to 2 am if I am not asleep by then. I do not have the luxury to take a noon nap though I very much wanted to. One reason is the I would need to forgo my lunch to have the nap. The second reason is there is no comfortable place for me to nap. It is awkward sitting at my work desk taking a nap.

i usually give myself time to relax and take a nap from 2 to 3pm. this is how i spend to stress-out the tiring morning. i find it more energized after an afternoon nap and more likely motivated to do a lot better the rest of the day. i also noticed that after taking an hour nap, i feel more calm and in the right mood to do overtime work.

It is not customary in north america to nap, but I am older and always tired and I take a nap at any hour.

I need a nap at noon. It is a pity there is no way I am going to get one. Well, technically I guess I could because there is no one here to catch me at it but unless I'm sick I'm not normally able to sleep during the day. I feel like I could use one though a lot of days, and then I don't have the sense to get to sleep earlier at night so I am often a little bit sleep deprived.

I think I would be better off living in China. My body clock works best if I have a nap at noon, r not long after. But of course, this doesn't fit in with Australian society, not if you have a job, or have to take kids to school, etc.
I also find I sleep better at night, if I don't have a nap at noon.

I don't nap at noon most of the time. But if I'm tired I might, but it isn't something I do every day. I have a Chinese friend, he doesn't nap either but I'm guessing it is because he has a business and never leaves so there's no time for him to nap! I'm unemployed at the moment so I have a lot of time on my hands but I usually spent it on the computer or watching the television.

I think I need a nap all the time lol. I do get tired easily during the day and have to take a nap. I know Chinese people work and study very hard, so I can definitely understand why they/you would need to nap.

Oh yes, I am used to taking naps in the afternoon. Not that long really, 15 to 20 minutes would suffice. It recharges me and makes me able to concentrate on my tasks in the office better. When I could not take a nap, sometimes I feel irritable.
