Do you like how and what your parents named you? Do you use it often in the internet or change it sometimes? why?]
Did you ever think of having another name? or changing your name? What name would it be and why do you like it more than your name today? or are you contented with your own birth name?

My name is really short and common here in our country so there are times that I wish I could change it. But after looking up the meaning of my name, they say that my name means 'God's gracious gift', so I guess that's a good enough reason to love my name. I'll just have to wait to have kids of my own so I could name them after the names that I want like Samantha for girl...well, I haven't thought of a name I like yet for a boy...hehe!

I used to want to change my name to something like John. But then I realised what a cood name I have. I am named after both of my Granfathers. My First name is my mom's dad, my middle is my Dad's dad.

I rarely ever release my name online... I find it's a personal 'in real life only' sort of deal for someone t know my real name.
I've always wanted to be called Liam, even though it's a masculine name (and I'm a girl). It has a nice ring to it, short and uncommon. Truthfully, I'm still not sure whether I'd prefer to legally change my birth name. If I did, I think my parents would be offended. So instead, I plan on just introducing myself to strangers as Liam instead of as my birth name. That way, no legal documents will have to be involved and I'll still get to be called what I want to be called.

I would not change my name since I like it very much. But I don't use it in creating a username or so on the Internet. I use my nickname or so.

No, i hate it! I'm called Helen, so of course people shorten my name to Hel, which undersatandably i don't like. So that's why i call myself Hez, or Hezoid fro long (beucase people thought it was short for heather and also usernames can't be just 3 letters long!). Apparently it was a chocie between Helen and Fia, i think maybe i'd have preferred Fia actually, though it really wouldn't have gone with my surname!

i used to want to change my name when i was younger just cause people couldn't pronounce my name right. But as i got older, i began to love my name cause its unique and not many people i know have a name like me. so i guess i am contented with my own birth name :-)

I have a short name that doesn't lend itself to any good nicknames. When I was younger, I always wanted to change my name to Elizabeth, so that I could have a lot more options on what people called me. Now that I'm older, though, I know that my name is fairly uncommon (though not really unusual), so I don't mind it so much.
