I liked the last part of the Lord of the Rings because it's action-packed. I loved watching their battles or the fight scenes especially the ones with Gandalf in it. For an old man, he could really fight a mean battle and knows how to hold his ground. And of course, I liked the part where Sam saved Frodo and has really been there with him 'til the end.

the third part return of the king is best, because its full of action.among all of these lotr extended versions are good.it consists of so many unseen scenes.

The second one...The Two towers....Because of the ElmĀ“s Deep battle...the orcs marching on rohan makes my heart beat faster. It is such a powerfull battle and that is also the movie when you meet the Ents, my favourite characters ;)

I would have to say the first. It was more concise and flowed better than the third part, which I also liked a lot. I really didn't like the second part. I also felt the whole quality of a group of beings coming together to form a strong bond was reflected better in the first part. The fellowship formed a close group and there was an emotional connection there that wasn't the same once the characters were separated like they were in the later films. There were certain scenes I liked in the other parts, but I enjoyed the first part as a whole more.

So far I disagree with the other posters. I think the second part is the best. The Two Towers, I mean. One, I love the scenery and can't get enough of watching the aerial views of them running cross country. But more then that, I love the Battle of Helms Deep. I can't remember his name, but the actor who plays the King is at his best in that movie. I love how the elves come to save the day and rekindle that bond with man. I think that battle is the best.
