How do you deal with your wife, when she refuses accept your suggestion

When your wife refuse to accept your suggestion, do you get angry. In case you get angry, will you argue with her and just drop the subject or will you ask her reasons for refusing the suggestion. Your suggestion may be creating a new insurance policy when she says Insurance policy is not necessary like that. How do react to this situation. In case your husband refuse to accept your suggestion, what will you do.

actually, my wife wanted an insurance policy and i didn't, and she couldn't convince that we needed it, so she just got it herself out her money (we give each other allowances :)). so it's tough, because you have to learn to compromise - if you want it more than she doesn't want it, then you need to convince to compromise. If she doesn't want it more than you do, then you can just drop the subject.
