Geogia rule is such a great movie and encompasses all emotions. It is a drama, comedy, sometimes action, and always enjoyable movie to see by yourself or with friends. I took my mom to go see it for the Memorial day weekend and we both liked it a lot. I have already seen it and that was my third time.
So go see the movie. That is not a request it is Georgia Rule.

I have not heard of this movie but sounds good to me it has all the elements that i enjoy watching on movies. who all plays in the movie and what is it about?

Lindsay Lohan plays as an unruly daughter sent to live with her grandmother Georgia, played by Jane Fonda, in Hull Idaho. Rachel's, Lohan, California behavior doesn't go over well with all of the locals. Her mother Lilly, Felicity Huffman, was a rebel like her daughter and can't stand her mother and that is why she sent Rachel to live with her for the summer until Rachel goes off to college in NY.
Rachel befriends a few locals and reveals a secret that changes the lives of everyone around her. The only problem is that she has lied so much that no one knows if it is true or not.
Some people are honest, some lie, some are kind, some are mean. No one really knows what rules apply or don't at any given time except for one rule: Georgia Rule.

OK i know which one you are talking about now. I somehow didnt think that was the name of the movie. I have seen the previews and definitly want to see it now more then ever.

I agree! This movie is DEFINITELY underrated. I always suggest that people see it, and the second they hear Lindsay Lohan's name - it turns them off of it, which is annoying. She actually portrays her character really well in this movie..Even if sometimes her character can be ANNOYING. I definitely liked it, though. And Harlan was succhhhh a cutie! 
And I definitely like how anti-cliche it is. Ok, it's a LITTLE cliche but was one of the most original movies I had seen in a while. And it ends well.

Good story...but not good directing or acting...felt like they were in rehearsals for most of it...too awkward...bad..gets better, but that is still just mediocre...link to full review:
