friends
is this right to compromise on the quality of IITs? sure a step like 50% reservation for the underprivileged can be fruitful for vote bank politics
but when we think of the reputation of IIT, the only possible consequence of implementing the quota system would be the dilution of brand IIT,which is one of the rare prides of india. Please post your comments.

IIT isnt a institute started by the politicians father. Then how can he allot seats for his kids? Or for any other SC/ST/OBC students? Is IIT his fathers property? "Scrap all reservation" should be the motto. But even we are to blame. When supreme court declined reservation, all the OBC started strike and etc. but when reservation was agreed, we just kept mum. WHY THE F*** DO WE NEED RESERVATIONS?????
Ask the politician to start his own college with his own money (not black money) and provide reservation for everyone he wants.

There should be absoulutely no reservation bcoz there are many people in SC/ST/OBC who don't deserve reservation. Not only for OBC, I think the reservation for SC/ST should also be removed. Are all SC/ST/OBC backward? Are all General category students forward? The answer for both the question is no
