Is IIT losing its charm??

recently some person from from the reputed TATA groups announced publicly that they are not going to hire IITians in future.Do you think that IITs are losing their charm and that it is more of hype than quality??

definetely not, iit remains iit, though many aluminis of other colleges r getting handsome salaries still iit remains at top.

thnx manish, attitude like this keep we iitians moving r u also from iit,if not then from which college.

They are definitely not losing their charm coz only 2% of those who apply are able to make it to IITs... But after cearing that exam......the attitude that all is conquered ....shouldn't be there....

yes, its ranking was 260 in 2007 and now it is above 500 among world's universities
