what's in your collection?

some people love to collect anything that interests them. my first collection is stamps. i had lots of albums filled with stamps from around the world. then i got tired collecting them. then i started collecting phone card! i still collect until now.. then in 1997 i was fascinated by postcards that i starting collecting them, buying loads whenever i visit bookstore.. until now i still collect and buy some if i visit a new place. i also collect fridge magnets of the places i visit. these magnets remind me of the places that i had visited.
what do you have in your collection and why do you collect them?

I have a stamp collection my mom started when I was a baby. We don't collect new stamps though - she saved the canceled stamps. And since I was really into penpals for a long time, I have stamps from all over the world.
I also collect postcards - everywhere I go I buy them. That and I am in several postcard communities where random people send you postcards. It's great.
I collect magnets from the places that I travel to as well as shot glasses.
I also collect ATC (Artist Trading Cards), fairy items, and things with monkeys on them.

Oh yeah - they are really cute. I really love languers, snow monkeys and squirrel monkeys the most. Monkeys are just so funny and mischeivious.

nice, we have similar collections! i got tired collecting stamps since most mails that they sent me dont arrive in our mailbox :( and that frustrated me.. its quite fun collecting postcards. am also a member of some groups in yahoo where we trade postcards and play games with postcards as prizes.. i collected shot glasses but most of them had their logos fade. :( you really love monkeys dont you? ;)

I used to collect all sorts of random things when I was younger. I still have them all, I have a book of stamps, another with napkins, sowing needles, pens.. random things like that. I don't collect much anymore, unless if shoes and handbags count, that is! Lol.

we kids before really want to collect all sorts of things. its the i have it and you dont attitude.. why not try selling them or trading them, at least someone will have them. lol shoes and handbags? then your like my sister! thanks

My collection is antique.I like antique furniture,painting,and decorative stuff.I have one set of antique table with four chairs which has a very fine art work on it.It was more then three hundred years old originaly from Itali.I do have some one offer me to sell it to them, but i refused ,because i will never be able to find exactly the same one any more.

wow! what an expensive collection you have! you really into furnitures and spend a fortune acquiring them? oh id love to see your antique table. i know the feeling that only have that piece of collection and people offering you to sell it. guess thats one of the fun part in collecting hard to find items. good luck with your collection.

When I was younger, like almost all girls at that time, I collected Barbies, stickers and stationary. Nowadays, aside from petty anime stuff, I collect graphic novels and anime/game figures. They're quite costly but they're worth every peso I spent. I have some pictures of them on my multiply, tell me if you wanna see them ^_^
