wow this heat

LOL, I am not a summer person either. Which is funny as I was born and raised in South Florida, home of perpetual summer. I love living in Northern Illinois. Our summer is short and sweet. I too love the cold, you can always put more on, but there is only so much you cantake off in the heat. I am going to Cuba this summer to meet my in laws and wow I am gonna DIE !!!

Our summer is just finished.. It started raining monsoon from day before yesterday. So it is cool here.. and we now feel it a great relief from the heat of 38 degree Celsius of the last few weeks. But I find no reason or no right for us to blame the climatic conditions as long as we too have contributed a lot it. Thank you Frecklelip.

In India monsoon is going to approach in a week or two but still the heat is unbearable if the fan is switch off.

You're telling me! It made 80 here yesterday, and the hunidity here is oppressive, not to mention annoying. I have a guitar neck that I need to complete, and the humidity is tooo high -- the thing's not drying. Lacquer can't be srayed or used in any way when the humidity is over 60%. I need dry weather! Auggghhh!

LOL where do you live?! It was sticky and warm here but not as hot as yestarday and I know a few days this week are supposed to be 90! But I was really complaining about the cold so i'm trying to be good! I must admit it's MUCH easier to get out of the house with the kids in the warm weather. Without having to put hats and coats and all of that on. Now I just grab them and go!! I have the AC on insdie, it's a nice and chilly 73, burrrr!!!

Where in the world are you at that 85 degrees is hot!?! I'm from the South and it's been nothing but cool whether (in the 70s) and RAIN (and super humidity) so far this spring! I wish it was warm out, I love warm weather but I hate how places always over-aircondition their buildings. Then again, I have hypothyroidism and anything under 80 degrees is considered "hoodie weather" in my book.

I'm on Vancouver Island and it is hot here also. The weather we are getting is the weather we get about mid summer here. The worst part is I am 7 months pregnant and my due date is mid August. The heat suck for me. Normally I am a summer person, I was born in July and love everything summer, but this year I am dying from this weather.

Yeah it is hot in my city too. That's what summers are hot and humid. But i prefer bright sunny day to cold cloudy winters. LOL. I just hope there are occasionall showers to get some respite. I take baths longer and couple of times too. And drink of water to keep myself cool. I prefer to stay inside and keep myself cool.

I love the summer although I am not a beach person at all . I just like the warmth and can't stand when I am cold . Up until last week we still had frost in the mornings and I was beginning to think that summer would never come this year as this is the latest it has ever taken for us to get some warm weather . It usually starts to get nice in May and this year it was so cold even though the temperature was reading that it was 26 degrees outside , one still needed a winter jacket because of the wind . It might have been nice if you could find a place with no wind but that wasn't possible . It just started to get nice but boy did it come fast when it did . There was no warming up period , one day there was frost all over the ground in the morning and the next morning it was so warm it was hard to breath with the humidy . I love it though and want it to last forever . I am sick of everyone in the house being sick all the time from the cold and hate getting up in the morning and turning on the heat so we don't freeze or just having to bundle up to go outside .

85 and do you thinks thats hot? Be thankful that its 85 there cuz its 103 here and trust me its as hot as hell. I'm not much of a summer guy too but what else can we do,its nature's work and gotta accept it as it comes. Ice creams act as good busters to heat and so are lemonades.I take both of them often.Cotton clothes help alot too.

I hate the heat too!! And we are in Texas where it is SOOO humid along with being miserably hot!! My kids love being outside but they are sweating within 5 minutes!! I don't like the beach, the sand sticking all over you, the heat...no way it is too miserable for me!!

i cant help it but to take a bath for more than 3 times a day when summer comes. its really hot and a cant stand the heat.

Men can we switch countries.^_^ we already have rain for almost a month now and it's cold .I really love the summer and i really hate the cold rainy winters. I don't like swimming i really hate it i'd love to walk.

I Hate the Heat and the Humitity is even worse it was like 80 here today but with the humitity at like 90% if felt like 105 even though I live on the Chesapeake Bay we get a breeze everyday but some days it does not help at all.uggg Have a Great Day/Night.

Speaking of heat...wow...it's super hot here in the middle east. Yesterday we have around 51C here. And the hot air so coming over my face even it's 6:00pm...so humid and the sandstorm...I hate it. We are really suffering because our car has no AC..it's broken...imagine how miserable I am..

well im not a summer girl either.i hate the sun and i dont swim or go to any beaches i prefer strolling or shopping in malls

I live in India. So you can probably understand how hot it must be here. It did touch 91 degrees today. It usually is like this during the summer and the only way to beat the heat is to stay indoors. I too like the cold weather and it is quite pleasant where I stay. Fortunately the summer is almost over and it should start raining by June 7th. I'm waiting for the first rains for my yearly rain dance.

You sound just like my husband LOL I love summer and the heat so it doesn't bother me at all, its the cold that gets to me. Ever since my husband returned from overseas he has had the airconditioning on ALL day and I don't like it and find myself outside on the porch/patio just trying to warm up. I love going to the beach just to hang out even if I don't end up going for a swim. Sun Sun I Love the Sun :):)

i dont like summer. it giv me a lot of sweat alll day long. so, we should drink a lot of water yah... a lot of water will maintain your body refresh all day..

I don't like swimming too!I feel the sea is so terrible,and the sea water is dirty!Haha~~But I am not that hate summer as you are.In summer day we can wear many beautiful clothes and drink cool drink,do u like it?
