Ever wanted to be a witch or magician?

I want to be a magician, but not primarily for the reasons you've stated. I may perhaps consider the reasons you've given, especially when unforeseen circumstances call for it. I would want to be a magician primarily to improve and entertain myself. I feel that possessing magic is one way to improve one's self, since, in a sense, it is like another skill, which could be added to the arsenal of one's skills. Acquisition of such skill, thus, could lead to the overall development of one's self. Magic could likewise be one's source of entertainment, which could be extremely useful, especially in instances when one is in need of such. However, I feel that being a good magician does not magically happen. It requires vast amounts of willpower, dedication, and faith in one's self. Among all the prominent magicians today, I would probably want to be like Criss Angel and/or David Blaine. Their tricks seem to be very real and truly awe-inspiring. I particularly like it when they levitate, since I find it quite cool. If only I'll be as persevering, disciplined, strong-willed, and dedicated as they are, then perhaps, with a little bit of luck, I may also levitate someday.
